GRAPHIC ART EXHIBITION

The walls of the city are an open-air gallery, where, if for only just a moment, art brightens the day of passers-by. In partnership with Publicité Sauvage, we pay tribute to poster artists, those creators and artists who have been brightening up the city for decades.

In 2012 Publicité Sauvage celebrated 25 and a half years of urban posting. It's been 9 years already since that anniversary event. The company decided to recreate this festive spirit on the streets of Montréal. You can enjoy this wonderful poster exhibition once again on city poster walls, barricades and other surfaces. Straight out of their archives, this street art puts the talents of our poster artists on full display.

A SHORT HISTORY OF THE 25 AND A HALF YEAR ANNIVERSARY

In 2012 Publicité Sauvage decided to celebrate 25 and a half years. Instead of hiring an agency to promote these events, Publicité Sauvage decided to call upon the talents of poster artists, some of them established and others up-and-coming.

The event featured 15 exhibitions in different locations. Each artist was given a general theme, a title, text elements and an exhibition location.

These final designs were selected and became the official posters for the event.
